What does Ichtus Antwerp do for internationals?

Since Dutch is the official language of Belgium, it’s no surprise that most of our members speak Dutch 🙂 But due to the increasing number of international students, we are trying to integrate more English into our association.

First of all, we have an international small group (kring, in Dutch). With this group of members, you will have Bible study every two weeks. Since the international small group consists only of international students (including one of the praesidium members), it is the perfect place to share all your questions and thoughts without worrying about a language barrier.

It is inevitable that some of our activities will mainly take place in Dutch, such as a quiz or a Dutch lecture. We do not want to exclude you, which is why we offer more English-language activities on Thursdays. In our communications, we will always indicate whether an activity will take place in Dutch, English, or both languages.

Do you want to become a member?

You are officially a member of Ichtus Antwerp once you have completed the above form and paid the membership fee.

The standard contribution is €50 per year, and we ask you to use this as a guideline. If you have less money available, €35 is also sufficient to become a member. If you have more to spend and would like to provide Ichtus with additional financial support, you can contribute €65. You do not have to pay the membership fee immediately; the deadline is November 1. This gives you some time to get to know us! It is also possible to become a member for half a year. The membership fee is then €30 as a guideline, with a margin of €20 to €40.
