What does Ichtus Antwerp do for internationals?
Since Dutch is the official language of Belgium, it’s no surprise that most of our members speak Dutch 🙂 But due to the increasing number of international students, we are trying to integrate more English into our association.
First of all, we have an international small group (kring, in Dutch). With this group of members, you will have Bible study every two weeks. Since the international small group consists only of international students (including one of the praesidium members), it is the perfect place to share all your questions and thoughts without worrying about a language barrier.
It is inevitable that some of our activities will mainly take place in Dutch, such as a quiz or a Dutch lecture. We do not want to exclude you, which is why we offer English translation at our activities.
Do you want to become a member?
You are officially a member of Ichtus Antwerp once you have completed the above form and paid the membership fee.
The contribution is €60 per year. You do not have to pay the membership fee immediately; the deadline is October 8th. This gives you some time to get to know us! It is also possible to become a member for half a year. The membership fee is then €35. The Kick-off weekend is included in the fee.
Know that if this fee is a problem for you that you may always get in touch with us, this way we can find a solution together!
